ANDREW, Alexander "Sandy"

1951 - 2022

Alexander (Sandy) David Andrew passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Sandy leaves behind his wife Linda (née Aru) of 45 years, his daughter Amy Clarke (Eric) and grandchildren Robert and Rose.

Sandy was born and raised in Matheson. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Edna (née Liddard) and his sister Marion. He leaves behind his brother Don and sister Shirley and many nieces and nephews.

His family was the most important to Sandy. He always mentioned with pride what Robert and Rosie were up to.  Sandy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time at Munro Lake with his family and most neighbours.

Cremation has taken place. Following his wishes, there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TPR recreation fund.

Amy we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's sudden passing. We went through the same unexpected pain just last summer with Rob's mom, and we can imagine what you must be feeling. Lots of Glover love coming your way. XOXO

Sandy’s strength, caring, and honesty showed us the goodness in his heart.

Although he came across as a quiet man, Sandy was always up for a good joke. He had the best laugh! It left no doubt when he found something incredibly hilarious. Thank you, Sandy, for those moments and for the many great memories from our visits to Matheson, Kirkland Lake, and the cabin.

Sending love and hugs from our family to yours.
