To Pat and Susan, George and Esther and everyone out in Tarzwell and Kirkland Lake who knew Annie..Annie inspired me. She was a straight shooter, very funny, always spoke her mind and easy to talk to. I truly loved Annie, right from the start. Annie will always be in my heart through my spirit. She was independent and certainly did not cow down to anyone. I see a lot of Annie in you two, Susan and Patty. You know I care about you and my heart is with you. Lots of love to you from Patricia McLean

To Pat, Susan and Family my sincere condolences. I always told Annie I wish I could have met her years ago so I could write about all the stories she loved telling me about. I missed our scrabble games and sharing the other activities we shared at Tweedsmuir. My thoughts are with you.
