It was a great pleasure to care for Barb and later she became a great friend. Life has certainly changed without “our” Barb in it, but we know she no longer is in pain. You will be greatly missed my friend, til we meet again. ️

The family of Barbara Millar

I send my sincere condolences during this time of sorrow. The Bible promises that your loved one will live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)

When I started my position at TPR, I had the opportunity to interview Barb for the northern news. Barb immediately made an impression to my life, enriching my social work career by sharing of her life story which included being a fierce advocate for others. Barb was warm, intelligent, passionate, brave and above all, unconditionally kind. I will miss hearing her laugh and watching her work on her beautiful artwork. Barb will be deeply missed; however, it has been an honour to have both witnessed and experienced how she has permanently impacted the lives of others for the better, forever.

Our sincere condolences go out to the families. We knew Barb from the Larder Lake Seniors club and visited her many times at TPR. We have one of her paintings. She was a lovely lady.
