Please accept our most sincere condolences. We were very saddened to hear about the recent passing of Baxter and please know that you and the entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. Our Leduc Family, (Bernie, Maureen, Mark and Lianne) were very fortunate to have had the chance to visit with Judy and Baxter in Kirkland Lake 6 years ago while making a road trip to return to Bernie and Maureens birthplaces and hometowns (Ramore/Holtyre & Matachewan/Sudbury). and in celebration of Maureen & Bernie’s 53rd Wedding Anniversary. It was a wonderful visit recalling time spent in Kirkland Lake over the years and at the “Candy Store” and the many memories we have as a family with Baxter that we will all forever treasure in our hearts. Just heard about my friend Baxter. My condolences to you Judy, I know you were very good to Baxter. We were next door neighbors in Manitouwadge before we moved to Kirkland and our friendship continued. Baxter was so kind to his Mom and the rest of his family. Not many people deserve a gold star but Baxter did and I’m sure he will receive one for his life’s work. Rest in peace my friend I will never forget you.

My condolences to Judy and all my cousins Monique, Carol ,Rod, Lorraine. Baxter was a great influence on me. He was more than a cousin to me…He was an uncle to me…and gave me special advice during some challenging moments in my youth. Baxter praised perseverance in moments of adversity , compassion and being helpful to others when they are need..especially family. Baxter had a deep sense of pride in family and constantly expressed how close he was to his brothers and sisters. In watching how Baxter took care of his mom. It taught me how to take care of my own grandmother. My prayers are are with you all. My father (John) also sends his condolences to everyone.
