On the 13th of August, 2022 in her 93rd year Beatrice Mary Mayhew died.

Survived by her daughters Pauline Windridge & family in England and Lesley Curtis & family from Swastika, Kirkland Lake and New Liskeard.

Thank you to the staff of Blanche River Health Kirkland Lake and Timmins District Hospital for their efforts in her care.

We were saddened to learn of the death of your mother. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Mrs. Mathew, they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Leslie, you have a strong Christian foundation, are caring, compassionate and, intelligent with a quick wit and infectious laugh.
