1944 - 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Key (Weston). She passed peacefully with family by her side, on October 25, 2023. Born April 28, 1944 Carol was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

 She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Jean Weston and her husband of 58 years Gerry Key.

 She leaves behind her children Jeff (Olga) Key and Lisa (Rick) Tessier, and her grandchildren Alexandria, Samantha, and Jarrot. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend Jeannette (Jim) Smith, her brother in-laws David Key, Doug (Gail) Key, and Robert Key, along with many nieces and nephews.

 Carol lit up the room with her smile, her laugh and her sense of humor. She will always be our sunshine.

Key Family

Carol had a calming presence, greeting people with a glowing smile. Quiet, but incredibly observant, Carol always looked out for others during our programs, lending a helping hand when possible. I am grateful for the time I had with her at Teck Pioneer, and cherish the moments of laughter we had. Sending my thoughts to your family
