DELAURIER, Carver

1967 - 2022

It is with great sadness I am announcing the passing of the love of my life and soul mate, Carver. He passed away suddenly on February 2, 2022, at Blanche River Health - Kirkland Lake Site.

Carver was born and raised in Matheson. He was a born outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and everything in between. He had a passion and a caring heart for animals. Carver was a great friend and always willing to lend a helping hand.

He will be reunited with his beloved father Erwin Delaurier, and brother Jim Delaurier. He is survived by his wife of 8 years Gayle (Smith), step-daughter Tammy (Mark), and 3 grandchildren, Cassidy, James, and Madison, whom he loved very much. His mother Geri (late Harold), brother Lorne (Shelly), sister Margaret Ann (Dale), and many nieces and nephews.

Thank you to all the nurses and doctors for the care given.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the animal shelter of your choice or to Sick Kids Hospital  (https://www.sickkidsfoundation.com)

Cremation has taken place, and a small social gathering will be held to celebrate his life at a later date.
