With sadness we announce Chris’ passing at Teck Pioneer Residence on Wednesday March 27, 2024.

Chris was born on Bell Island, Newfoundland the 3 rd of May 1947 to the late James and Florence Pitts.

She was predeceased by 17 brothers and sisters, and her loving granddaughter Shaylee Marie Beaulieu.

Christina is survived and remembered with love by her son George Jr (Sherry) L’Heureux, her daughter Kimberley L’Heureux (Dave Jibb), her grandchildren April, Francois, Cody, Jaydon, Nicholas, great grandchildren Dakota, Ryder, Hunter and a precious great-great grandchild on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family celebration at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff and Doctors at both the Blanche River Health Kirkland Lake site, and Teck Pioneer Residence for the wonderful care over the last few years of her life.

I was so sorry to read this. I got to know and really enjoy Christina at TPR. She sat with my Dad Terry during meals and chatted with us often. I am so very sorry for your loss.
