PUNCH, Claire

1953 - 2022

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Claire Punch, at the age of 69, with her family by her side, and in her heart.

She was a loving wife to her husband of 50 years, Hughie, and a devoted mother and grandmother to Katherine, Rob, Sharon, Donald, Jonathan, Aubrey and Kayden.

She will be fondly remembered by her remaining siblings, Emma, Esther and Daniel, as well as many nieces and nephews. She joins her siblings, Tommy and Helen, in rest.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and returned to the east coast for a private family release. We always knew when she had spoken to her dear sister Emma. Her beautiful accent came back for awhile.

The family would like to send heartfelt thanks for the support and assistance of friends and neighbours.
Her little buddies, Bobbo and Timothy, gave her much joy.

We would also like to thank the Englehart Palliative Care Department, the Kirkland Lake ICU staff and the Timmins Surgical Department.

We know she's now sitting, surrounded by dogs, sipping on a cup of tea with her much-missed cohorts, Ruth and Rita.

She is loved. She is missed. She is forever in our hearts.
