Colette Jacqueline Stockman (nee Sicard)
September 15, 1934 – August 10, 2021

Passed away quickly with family by her side on August 10th, 2021 at Extendicare Haileybury.
Predeceased by her husband & fishing partner Ken in 2012 and brother Johnny, Colette will be greatly missed by her 4 children Mike (Cyndi), Sue (Curtis), Paul and Mark (Jan); 2 grandchildren Adam(Keisha) & Ashley(Jay) and by her 2 great-grandsons Keevan & Cole. She is also survived and missed by her sisters Odette(Warren) & Jackie(Garry) and brothers Maurice(Denise), Ronald (Dora) & Gerry(Cecile) and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Gogama, ON she didn’t stray far from her roots and called Gowganda home until November 2019 when she reluctantly left the family home to spend her finals years where she could get some extra help. She enjoyed her months at both the Englehart Hospital and Extendicare Haileybury where she made many friends and received amazing care.
The family would like to say a special Thanks to the following:
Staff at Englehart Hospital; Della Everett; Staff at Extendicare Haileybury (Joanne, Nancy, Mimi, Cheryl, Sonya) your job is not an easy one but please know your care and compassion do not go unnoticed; Gert & Paul Trudel and Dr. Don Davies.
As per her wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
