In loving memory of Donald Victor Burnett who passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the age of 93 years.

Cherished father of Duncan (Janet), Donna (Steve), Randy and father-in-law of Andrea. Loving grandfather of Mark (Britanny), Andrew, Amanda (Marc), Elena (Dustin), Tyler (Megan) and step grand father of Callie (Paul) & Matthew (Amy). Beloved great grandfather of Courtland, Rykker, Rosalie, Robin, Avery & Oscar and great step grandfather of Raelynn & Brody. Donald was predeceased by his parents Donald & Alice Ida Burnett, by his loving wife Sheila May Burnett, by his son Mark Burnett and by his sister Doreen Morrow. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews extended relatives and friends.

Donald was a devoted member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 33 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed building cupboards and working in carpentry. He worked at Wabi Iron Works as a pattern maker for over 40 years.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 703490 Bolger Avenue, New Liskeard, ON P0J 1P0 on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses as of 1 p.m.

In memory of Donald, donations may be made to the Watch Tower Bible Track Society of Canada.
