I was shocked and devastated to hear about the passing of Don. I used to bring him coffee on the weekends to work when I was working in the warehouse at Macassa. Don had the kindest soul and purest heart! He always made it known that Alyssa was his pride and joy in life! I’m sending love and strength to his family and loved ones. He will be missed beyond measure!

Rachel Goard, March 1, 2021

My condolences to the family, Don was respected and well known at Macassa Mine, a hard worker and equally comfortable in his shop or in the offices where he would enlighten us on the working parts of machines and the cause and effect on them. He always mentioned the latest news on Alyssa as well as any new developments in King Kirkland.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dons passing. We would like to give our deepest condolences to Alyssa and the family. Don has been my partner at work for 11 years, the shop just isnt the same now without him. I called him Doctor Don and the best drill doctor I know. He would light right up whenever he talked about his little princess Alyssa. You were his world!!! He would text me from a bench in the North Bay mall while his little girl was shopping her heart out and he loved every minute of it. The proudest father I ever met! He will be greatly missed. RIP Buddy!!! Brian, Renee and Lexi Boros
