Mrs. Dorothy Siford (nee Beland)

It’s with great sadness that her family announces her passing on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 at Blanche River Health in Kirkland Lake. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Siford. She leaves behind her children Paul, Mark, Linda Ann Savard-Gallant, Christine Paula Savard, stepsons Peter (Lori), David (Gayle), stepdaughters Linda-Lee (Art) Zoethout, daughter in law Patti (Jean-Guy), her grandchildren Angela, Jason, Dannielle, Catrina, Michel, James, Christian, Justin, Sean, Kyle, Glen, Marc, Bret, Catherine, Rae-Anna May, Jill, Mathew her brother Lawrence (Ghislaine) Beland, sister Carole (Clifford) Boyington along with great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Dorothy and her late husband Jack were members of the Matachewan Legion branch 386 and Kirkland Lake branch 87 for many years.

Dorothy will also be forever remembered by so many people especially for her role as a Boy Scout leader (19 years) and member of the Moose Lodge (16 years).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Dorthy was a real spit fire. I will think of her dearly and miss her as I know all who knew her will. Keep all of your memories close by and she will always be there in your heart . And if your missing her just pull up those happy memories and smile or laugh which ever comes first.
