HOWEROW, Egor

1954 - 2023

HOWEROW, Egor – Passed away in Guelph on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the age of 69.

Born and raised in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Egor was predeceased by his beloved brother Oleg.  He is survived by his sisters Louisa and Natalie, his nephews Christopher Nobes of London, François Dupraz of Montreal, niece Isabelle Dupraz and grandnephew Felix Watt both of Scotland.

We appreciate the kindness and support the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Guelph extended to Egor over the many years he was a member.

Many thanks to Wellington Hospice staff and volunteers for allowing him to pass in dignity and comfort in the last weeks of his life.

An animal lover, Egor dearly loved his dog Taras and supported animal rescues whenever possible.  We will fondly remember our discussions of movies, music, books, the environment, and his newly found passion for his Ukrainian heritage.

A heartfelt thank you to all those who have helped us through this journey. You have done more for us than you will ever know.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11 am – 12 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 190 Marksam Rd., Guelph.  The funeral service will follow at 12 noon, at the church.  Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

My condolences to your family. I am a former neighbour on Duncan Avenue and went to school with Oleg and my brother with Egor. We have lost a lot of friends in our small block on Duncan.

The Family of Egor Howerow

I didn't know Egor that well, but we did communicate on Facebook. He seemed like a very intelligent and caring person and we did share a love of animals. I knew Oleg, I went to school with him so we did talk about him a little. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.
