The Nikitin Family

I am so very sorry to read of Mrs. Nikitin’s passing. I would often talk with her-even if it was just to show her where the kitchen was so she could get her coffee cup filled. She was often at the front desk, helping the nursing staff fold linens-she loved doing that. She was a very sweet lady and I loved to see her when I visited my Dad and Uncle Len. The staff had a very special place in their hearts for her. She was loved by all. Thinking of you all and saying a prayer for you.

All the family

Elsa made the best pulla that most of us could not master and was happy to share it with a perfect cup of coffee when visiting. You never left hungry after a visit with Elsa. She was so positive, always smiling and was up for fishing and berry picking anytime. She will be missed by all. Sending heart felt condolences.

Dear Irma, Leo, Ture and Sakari and families

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a lovely, kind person and a dear friend to our family and especially my mom. They shared joys and tribulations as they raised their families as new immigrants in Canada. I have fond memories from childhood of times our families got together. I remember always feeling welcome. I remember the aroma of coffee and pulla. And Elsa's blueberry jam was the best! Though years and miles have come between our families, I'll always hold fond memories.
My sincere condolences,

Kris (Heloste) Shappee
