Décédé, paisiblement, le 18 juin 2008, à la résidence Teck-Pioneer, District, M. Ernest Daviau, à l’âge de 82 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil ses sept enfants soit – Yvan et Diane Daviau de Timmins, Madeleine et Jean Ducharme de Mirabel, PQ, Léonie (feu Jacques) Daviau de Virginiatown, Rachel et Jean-Claude Lacasse de Virginiatown, Colette Lacasse et Yvon Savard de D’Alembert, QC, Annette et Normand Clermont de Timmins, Sylvie et Paul Côté de Goderich ; 18 petits enfants, 21 arrières petits enfants, frères, surs et nombreux amis(es). Predecédé de son épouse Jeannine (née Therrien) et de son fils Jacques Daviau. La famille recevra parents et amis à la Paroisse St. Pierre Apotre le samedi 21 juin, 2008 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. et le dimanche 22 juin, 2008 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les obsèques funéraires auront lieu le lundi 23 juin, 2008 en la Paroisse St. Pierre Apotre à 11 h30. Un énorme merci à tout le personnel de la résidence Teck-Pioneer pour que ces derniers mois se passent sans trop de douleur. Vous formez une équipe formidable. Línhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Kirkland Lake suivant la funéraire. Ernest was the loving and dear father of 7 children – Yvan & Diane Daviau of Timmins, Madeleine & Jean Ducharme of Mirabel, QC, daughter-in-law Léonie (son late Jacques) Daviau of Virginiatown, Rachel & Jean-Claude Lacasse of Virginiatown, Colette Lacasse & Yvon Savard of D’Alembert QC, Annette & Normand Clermont of Timmins, Sylvie & Paul Côté of Goderich. He will be fondly remembered by his 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, as well as his brothers and sisters and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his wife Jeannine (née Therrien) and his son Jacques Daviau. Visitation will be held at St. Pierre Apotre Catholic Church in Virginiatown on Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. & Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. Mr. Daviau will be laid to rest with Jeannine at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery following the service. The family would like to extend an enormous thank you to the nursing staff for their continuous care and devotion. You are truly a great team and you work so well together. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society (38 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, P2N 2E2), Heart & Stroke Foundation (P.O.
