Family of Flo Belle

Im so sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences to all of you! She will be missed, to the family I met during her last few weeks at the hospital you are all in my thoughts and prayers. She was an amazing woman and loved her family so much, Ive heard many stories she cherished and kept close in her heart. To the sister I had the chance to talk to this is a message from the one she use to call "Baby Face". I was very sad the morning i came in to find out she passed but im so happy shes no longer in any pain.

All of Flo's Family

Flo, Carlo and John were my across the hall neighbours on the top floor of the Bourlamaque Clinic. After bath time, I'd walk over in my P.J.'s and watch I Love Lucy, Ed Sullivan Show, Perry Mason, etc. I was welcomed like a daughter and cherish my talks with Flo. I recall her shiny black hair set up completely with " Bobby pins". After I left Val d'Or, her home was always my special place to visit and be welcomed as we caught up on life news. I recall her lovely polished nails. Also, her deep sorrow when her Carlo died too young. Such strength she displayed and delightful sense of humor. After she moved to New Liskeard we kept in touch through phone and in the last few years through precious hand-written cards and letters. I learned of her daily life, the changes re not driving anymore, the challenges of aging. Falling became part of her concerns. Through all of these events she expressed a delightful attitude to "life". It was heart-breaking to know she was hospitalized when her precious only son, John, passed away from cancer. It was hard to have lost her mobility. She was in pain. She never really complained. . .just honestly said she had enough. At the end of our calls we always said " love you". ️ Yes dear Flo, it was a blessing to be your friend. Always in my heart.
