Glenna McLean,

GLENNA MCLEAN,

2021

Passed away suddenly and peacefully at her retirement home in Ottawa. She will be dearly missed and always remembered by her son Jeffrey; daughter Jennifer and grandson Kyle who she adored. Glenna was born in Arundel in 1933; she was raised in New Liskeard where she met her only love James Andrew. Knowing that she is now in God’s hands and reunited with the love of her life, her father Robert, mother Clara and brother Wenville it offers us great peace and comfort. The family will receive friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Glenna’s Life at 10:00 a.m. in the “Teck-Hughes Chapel” of the Monette & French Funeral Home. Glenna will be laid to rest next to her husband Jim in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Glenna’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society (206-670 Airport Rd. Timmins, ON. P4P 7C3). Trust in God, trust also in me Do not let your hearts be troubled In my father’s house are many rooms If it were not so, I would have told you I am going to prepare a place for you I will come back and take you with me that you also may be where I am John 14:2-3Offer Condolence for the family of Glenna McLean

Beau and Bethany! We absolutely love the phtoos you have taken for us. You truly made our wedding day special. You both made everything so easy for us and our guests. You went above and beyond what we ever imagined and cannot stop looking at our pictures. My phone has been beeping like crazy for the past hour full of compliments. We received so many comments from people on the day of our wedding who thought you were a family friend because of how you conducted yourself. We would recommend you to anyone and everyone. Thank you again!Jamie and Nate

Dear Jennifer and Jeff, I was so sorry not to be able to be at your Mom’s funeral. I have been thinking of you a lot this last week, remembering so many special times from when we were kids in Kirkland. Your Mom really was like a second Mom to me and I will always cherish those special memories. Interestingly I will never be able to shell shrimp without thinking of her, but that is a story to be shared at another time! She will always be ‘Mother Superior’ to me and that too will require some explaining. I am blessed to have had her as part of my life. Jennifer I hope that you will send me your email address. Much love, Lucienne
