Mrs. Chliszczyk, My sympathies on the passing of Gordon. My name is Walter Chliszczyk, son of Frank Chliszczk and nephew to Walter Chliszczyk of Kirkland Lake. I do not know if Gordon’s dad was my Uncle Walter’s son. Chliszczyk is not a common name, I am the only Chliszczyk in the province of Quebec, other than a sister. If I am not a relative of Gordon’s, then I apologise for the intrusion. Sincerely, Walter Chliszczyk

Remember forever: Gord was a fun person to be around. I loved grilling and having a few brews with the man. We snowmobiled together and enjoyed every minute of it. We laughed together, compared stories and events and most of all, enjoyed sharing the time together. Gord always had a lovely smile which was energy to me. He loved the people surrounding him, his kids, pet and cottage. Describing Gord in a few words would be ” Warmth on Earth” I miss you Gord, Gus

I worked with Gord at Northern College and must say he was one of the most easy going people I have met. I think we moved his office space at least six times and never once did he complain. He would keep a cart to ensure he was ready for the “next move” We all apreciated his humor and his calm nature. His friends and co-workers at Northern College will be thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

Dear Carol and family I was deeply saddenned to hear of Gord’s passing. He fought a courageous battle with you at his side. I will never forget his bright smile and his infectious laugh. Whenever I was having a bad moment or day at the bank and he would come in, just looking at his smile wiped all the bad stuff away. He is finally at peace now, Heaven is a brighter place with him in it. Therese Ettinger-Hall
