Ivon (Germain) Trudel,

IVON (GERMAIN) TRUDEL,

2021

Ivon (Germain) Trudel passed away peacefully at home in Belleville, ON Sunday morning after a short battle with cancer. A truly remarkable man, Ivon touched many lives with his boisterous spirit and unwavering humor. He will be forever loved and missed by his partner, children, grandchildren, siblings, and many dear friends, neighbors (human and furry), aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and coworkers. The family would like to thank the staff at Bayshore Home Health and Dr. Eric Smith for the kindness and care they showed during Ivon’s last days and to the many family and friends whose messages of love have helped to ease this sad time. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service held. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family invites everyone to cheer the Leafs to a Stanley Cup win – something Ivon would have loved. He never looked for praises. He was never one to boast.
He just went on loudly working. For those he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken. His wants were very few,
And most of the time his worries, Went unspoken, too.
He was there…a firm foundation. Through all our storms of life,
A sturdy hand to hold onto. In times of stress and strife.
A true friend we could turn to. When times were good or bad.
One of our greatest blessings, The man that we call Dad.

Natalie and Steve, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know, you are in our thoughts at this difficult time. It is never easy to lose a parent, and when it happens at this time of year, the struggle is a bit harder. God gave us memories so we can have roses in December.
