It is with great sadness that we announce Jeannette’s passing on October 31, 2018. Jeannette was predeceased by her parents Ferdinat and Melanie Deschamps (née Leduc), her first husband Albert Roy, brothers; Donat Deschamps, Leonel Deschamps, André Deschamps, Roméo Deschamps, Joseph Deschamps, Jean-Paul Deschamps, her sisters; Virginie Larente and Marguerite Labonté, her son Bruno Roy and her 2 great-grandchildren. Jeannette is survived by her spouse Leo Duchene, her children; Yolande (David) Shortt, Carole Roy and Tammy (Alain) Comtois, her daughter in law Lois Roy, her sister Mignonne (Emile) Poirier, her sister in law Yvette Deschamps, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Jeannette fostered children from 1942 and had 451 children since that time.Visitation:
