One month today Jen you left us….We all miss your smile and laugh… RiP my Friend XO

Stephanie Wincikaby, March 1, 2021

I first met Jen at police college, through our three months there, she left a everlasting impression. So kind, generous, and sincere. Her beaming smile stood out in a crowded room. I was fortunate to reconnect with her recently and even through the phone, her pride shone through the phone whenever she spoke of her daughter Charlie. It was evident that she adored and cherished being Charlies mom. Such a terrible loss… my deepest condolences everyone who loved her, especially her mother. It was clear that you did a great job in raising her and as I new parent myself, I’d truly be so proud if my child grew to one day display she same thoughtfulness and integrity that Jen possessed. Words will never be able to capture just how special she really was.

RICCARDO RAIA, March 1, 2021

How terribly sad I was to learn of Jen’s passing. Many memories flooded back of Jen as a young teenager working with her sister and cousins at Horseshoe Island. Shy, pretty with a disarming smile, that was the Jen I remember. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of the family. Rest In Peace Jen.

Marjorie Hueston, March 1, 2021

My thoughts and prayers are with you on this day of Jenny’s celebration of life. She was strong and would want you to be strong today. When she was participating in fund raising for Matachewan Public School, as a young girl, she came into the staff room and shyly asked me if I would buy something from her. Every year when I put up that ornament I think of that day and her radiant smile when I said yes.

MARGARET MCCOLLAM, March 1, 2021

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you . May you find peace and comfort in the many memories you have of Jenn.

My deepest condolences to Jenn’s family, friends, and coworkers. Jenn and I met a little over 20 years ago…one couldn’t help but fall in love with her right away. She had the brightest smile and such a sweet way about her and people were drawn to her. She was a free spirit and always seemed to seek out adventure and fun. Our lives, careers and families eventually took us down different paths and we lost touch, but Jenn will always have a special place in my heart. I treasure the memories I have of her. My heart goes out to Jenn’s family, friends and coworkers….this is a profound loss that will be hard to adjust to. Sending love and peace to you….

Intelligent, dedicated, motivated, compassionate, these are but some of the attributes that come to my mind in describing Jennifer. I first had the privilege of meeting and teaching her when she was enrolled in the First Nations Constable Program as a student at the Kirkland Campus, Northern College. An outstanding grade A student, she never liked, nor had any inclination to be noticed, but one could not help but notice her spirited, intense commitment, drive, and perseverance to tackle, solve, and succeed in whatever endeavor she encountered. Jennifer will be sadly and sorrowfully missed by everyone who had the fortunate opportunity to interact with her. I sincerely extend my condolences to the Landry family.

Stephen Boaro, March 1, 2021
