MACKLER, Jim (James)

1954 - 2021

MACKLER, JAMES "Jim", passed away on September 19, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family at his side.

Jim was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed many interests, but the greatest joy was spending time with his son Corey and his grandchildren Connor and Teagan who he loved dearly and were the world to him.

Jim leaves behind his wife of 47 years Helen, his son Corey, daughter in law Terri-Lynn who was loved like a daughter and his grandchildren Connor and Teagan.

The family would like to thank the Victorian Order or Nurses for the care and understanding they provided during his palliative care.

Over the years Jim also enjoyed times he spent with his pets:  Donations in Jim's name can be sent to Northern Animals Rescue and Sanctuary (northernanimalsrescue@yahoo.com) who provide services to homeless pets and all animals in need.

As per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial will be held with his immediate family only.

Very sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Jim. He was a very joyful, humorous, generous and loving man full of joy and love for everyone and animals and for life itself. We must remember the happy times and memories created with uncle Jim and what he has left behind, including his lust for family and his loving wife. He will be truly missed. Rip

Jim’s loved ones

We were shocked to hear the sad news. I’ve known Jim since we were in high school and both Brian and I worked with him for years at Northland Power. In all that time we’ve never had an occasion to say anything negative about him. Always pleasant, friendly and liked by all. You can’t say that about too many people in this world. Please accept our deepest condolences.
