BEAUDOIN, Kay

1937 - 2025

It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Catherine "Kay" Beaudoin announce her passing on May 2, 2025, at the age of 87 with her loving family by her side.

Kay was predeceased by her husband Andy Sr., son Andy, granddaughter Katie and grandson Johnny Dumas; her parents George and Jessie McKenna (nee Tait) and her lifelong friend Mary Gerber. As well as many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Kay is survived by her devoted daughters Susanne (Barry) Dumas and Tiffaney (Pierre) McLean, her daughter-in-law Kim, her cherished grandchildren Christian, Leanza, Christina, Jacqui and Danielle (Shayn Seguin), and her precious great-grandsons Wesley and little Andy. Also left to mourn her are her sister Janette Dodge, nieces April Dodge Krohmalnik and Corina Lacarte and their families, her granddaughter-in-law Christina Fortier, and numerous other nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her longtime friend Joan Hodgins.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ek, and Treva from Closing the Gap for the exceptional care provided and, compassion shown to their mum. Additionally, the family would like to thank the staff at the Teck Pioneer Residence for the kindness shown to their mum during the last year of her life. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Neil Retty from Medigas, for his exemplary work ethic in ensuring our mum’s oxygen requirements were met. 

Kay will be laid to rest in the family plot at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery

Wednesday, May 7, 2025, between 7-9 PM

Catholic Funeral Service:
Paroisse Assomption (50 Kirkpatrick Street, Kirkland Lake)
Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM followed by a reception in the Assomption Hall.
