C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille de Lionel Enice Fortier annonce son décès à l’hôpital du District de Kirkland Lake, le 18 juillet, 2008, à l’âge de 70 ans. Époux de Gisèle (née Bergeron) Fortier. Lionel laisse dans le deuil outre son épouse bien-aimée, chers enfants Yvon (Rebecca) de Kirkland Lake, Simon (Ginette) de Matheson; ses petits enfants Christina, Sadilea et Savanah. Lionel laisse aussi ses s"urs Jeanine (Aurèle Bellerose), Thérèse (feu Roger Paul), Gisèle (Leodord Clément), Rose (Lucien LaFontaine), Rejeanne (Claude Paulette) ; ainsi que ses belles s"urs et beaux frères ; nièces et neveux ainsi que plusieurs ami (es) . Il fut prédécédé par son père Omer et sa mère Alma (née Lampron) et son frère George (belle s"ur Ghislaine Fortier). Lionel a travaillé à Kerr Addison Mines pendant 27 ans. La famille Fortier recevra parents et amis en la Paroisse St.Pierre Apôtre de Virginiatown, vendredi, le 25 juillet, 2008 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les funéraires auront lieu, en présence des cendres samedi, le 26 juillet, 2008 en la Paroisse St.Pierre Apôtre de Virginiatown à 10h. En sa mémoire, la famille vous serait grandement reconnaissante d’un don au centre régional du cancer Nord Est (41 Ramsay Lake Road, Sudbury, ON., P3E 5J1). It is with deep sadness that we announce his passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Friday July 18, 2008 at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 42 years Gisèle (née Bergeron) Fortier ; loving children Yvon (Rebecca) of Kirkland Lake, Simon (Ginette) of Matheson; precious grandchildren Christina, Sadilea and Savanah. Fondly remembered by his sisters Jeanine (Aurèle Bellerose), Thérèse (late Roger Paul), Gisèle (Leodord Clément), Rose (Lucien LaFontaine), Rejeanne (Claude Paulette) as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews and many friends. Lionel is predeceased by his father Omer and his mother Alma (née Lampron) and his brother George (Ghislaine Fortier). Lionel worked at the Kerr Addison Mine for 27 years. The Fortier Family will welcome friends at St. Peter’s the Apostles Church in Virginiatown, Friday, July 25, 2008 from 2 :00 to 4 :00 and 7 :00 to 9 :00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10 :00 a.m. from St. Peter’s the Apostles Church in Virginiatown with father Henri Touaboy officiating. In Lionel’s Memory donations may be made to the Northeastern Regional Cancer Centre (41 Ramsay Lake Road, Sudbury, ON., P3E 5J1).Offer Condolence for the family of Lionel Fortier
