It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announces the unexpected passing of Marcel Widdifield, age 40, of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Marcel is survived by his wife Crystal and his 4 beautiful children, Nayomi, Hope, Marcel Jordan (M.J.) and Madisson, his mother Marie-Anne Widdifield, his brothers, Darren, Joey and Allen, his mother-in-law Ideon McFarlane and father-in-law Eddie McFarlane, his sisters-in-law Kadra and Kimberley, his godmother Rosalie Charbonneau and godfather Larry Charbonneau. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and his best friend Barlow.
Marcel is predeceased by his father Gerry Widdifield and his brother Gerry Jr. Widdifield. Anyone who knew him knows that he was a hardcore Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
Marcel will be greatly missed and never forgotten. A celebration of life in Marcel’s memory will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at The Legion Branch 87. The service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Larry Brown’s room.
