RIVEST, Marie

In loving memory of Marie Rivest (nee Knott), who passed away with family members at her side, peacefully at the age of 67 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on October 12, 2022.

Marie is survived by her children; Eric (Kerri), Ivan (Nathalie), Adam (Shauna), and Laura (Drew), her siblings; Annie, Ruby, Frances, Joe, and Larry. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren; Ethan, Graysen, Ellie, and Madelyn.

She is predeceased by her husband; Robert Rivest, granddaughter; Tylin Rivest, her parents; Charlie and Mary Knott, and brother; Edward Knott.

Marie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, chatting over the telephone, going out to shop or for a treat at the local Tim Hortons. She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking and her home was always spotless. As a mother, she was proud of all her children. Marie will be remembered for her loving and kind nature.

A celebration of life will be held at the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative 128 Whitewood Ave West, New Liskeard, Perrin Chapel on October 15, 2022 from 10am. to 12pm.

So sorry to hear of her passing. In my childhood days, i remember her being stern-like but very kind in her own way. Not only as a Jehovahs Witness at the Hall, but I did like saying hi to her whenever I saw her around town doing her shopping ^_^... sorry I didn't go to the Celebration of Life.... im sorry... my prayers and condolences to all of you
