I’ve known Mary all my life. In fact, I’m sure she held me in her arms as a baby. I remember her visits to our home where her, my sister and other friends would gather in preparation for one of their many outings. I loved Mary. She was always kind and pleasant. Through the years, if Mary saw me coming, I was always received with a smile and although we didn’t visit one another, we both took advantage of our meetings to catch up. I’m going to miss those chats. Rest easy Mary.

Dear Chris and Kim,

Although it has been years since I’ve spoken to your mom I will always cherish the time when I lived in KL and spent my youthful hours with her, your dad, and of course the two of you at your home when I was a young teen in the 1980’s.

Always an open door. Meals around your kitchen table and bombing downstairs to watch Dukes of Hazzard on a Friday night with Chris as Mary made treats and laughed.

She is now up there, close to Len once again.

Sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a great friend to Marlene and on the occasions I spent in her company we had a good time. Particularly memorable was the drive from Calgary to Vancouver. Five wonderful days through the Rockies, a glorious adventure. Mary's on her last adventure now may she rest in peace.
