Michael Montgomery died at the Joseph Brant Hospital on May 25, 2023, at the age of 52 years.

Michael was predeceased by his mother Lise (Gauthier) Montgomery. He is survived by his father Richard and brother Kevin.

As per Michael's wishes, he was cremated under the direction of the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative. He will be laid to rest with his mother at the Timmins Municipal Cemetery.
