GAGNON, Monique L.

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Monique L. Gagnon at the Kirkland & District Hospital on April 22nd, 2021, with her son and devoted caregiver of 27 years, Andre Gagnon, by her side.

Monique was deeply loved by her children; Andre Normand Gagnon of Kearns, Denis Gagnon (Jeanette Gagnon) of Cornwall, Diane Bellemare (Rejean Bellemare) of North Bay, Claude Gagnon (predeceased), and Fernand Gagnon (predeceased), as well as her husband, Jean-Paul Gagnon (predeceased). She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren; Alain Gagnon of Quebec city, Nadia Gagnon of Beauford, Quebec, Brigitte Saucier (Claude Saucier) of Cornwall, Marc Bellemare of Milbrook, Ontario, Michel Bellemare, and Katia Bellemare of Rockland. Monique is survived by her great-granddaughters; Briley Duval Gagnon of Cornwall and Chelsea Bellemare of Baltimore, Ontario, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters; Pauline Gagne of Val D'Or and Therese Dumond of Montreal.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Monique's memory can be made to the Kirkland & District Hospital.

Monique will be laid to rest at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

On behalf of my whole family, I would like to extend our thanks to the staff of the fourth level of the Kirkland & District Hospital for the care you provided to our mother, Mrs. Monique Gagnon, during her stay. Your patience, kindness, and understanding provided for our mother during her final stay will never be forgotten. A heartfelt "Thank you" for all you do.
