Evans, Nadine

EVANS, Nadine

1990 - 2022

In loving memory of Nadine Audrey Evans.

Nadine passed suddenly at the young age of 31 years on Thursday September 15th, 2022 at Blanche River Health Hospital (Kirkland Lake site). She had her immediate family by her side.

Nadine was born November 30th, 1990 and raised in our small town of Englehart, Ontario.

Nadine had a heart of gold, she is survived by family far and wide - the loving mother of Liam and Maisie Duguay (children’s father Brett Duguay), daughter to Bernadine Smith and Larry Boucher, her father Dwight Evans, the best sister to Skylar (Taylor) and Alex (Jill), cherished granddaughter of Joyce, Bernard Smith and Marlene Boucher. Nadine will be deeply missed by her nephews, Easton, AJ and niece Audrey. She will be remembered by all her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Nadine is also deeply missed by Brett and the Duguay/Swanson family; Tammy, Gino, Brittany (Jake), Judy, Ed, Helen, Derek, Summer (Chris), Crystal (Darren), Jayden and Ocean, as well as all of their family and friends.

Nadine is predeceased by her grandfather Laurier Boucher Sr., her grandparents Donald and Ann Evans, and Brett’s great grandfather Austin Swanson.

Nadine’s son Liam and daughter Maisie want her to know “I love you mom.” She will want her children to continuously be reminded how much she loves them.

Nadine’s truck was her biggest pride and joy - aside from her babies. She loved to cruise, listen to music and live in the moment. Nadine would’ve wanted everyone to live life to the fullest and always treat people with kindness!

As per family wishes, private visitation will take place for immediate family only, a cremation will follow. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, there will be a trust fund set up for Nadine and Brett’s children, Liam and Maisie - details on this will follow in the near future.

Bernadine, Skylar, Alex & families,

No words can describe how devastated we all were to hear of Nadine's passing.
She was such a beautiful soul and will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her love for her family and friends was most evident by her photo's and all her comments she shared with us. She always took the time to say hello no matter how busy she was.
She loved life and lived life to the fullest.
Please know that we are thinking of you all, and hold you dear to our hearts.

The family of Nadine Evans

I was so sorry to learn of Nadine’s passing. I was lucky enough to teach her at Englehart Public School and thoroughly enjoyed her spirit and attitude. She could always make me laugh. Please accept condolences from both Len and from me.
