It is with deep sorrow that the family announces Patricia’s passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Monday, July 9, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to the late Tom and Bernie (née Scully) Sullivan on June 14, 1940. Patricia was a faithful member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish, a longtime Health Care Aid at Extendicare of Kirkland Lake, an avid gardener and photographer. Her love of God and family was evident throughout her life. Patricia was a dear sister to Lorraine Robazza, Michael & Linda Sullivan, Mark & Pat Sullivan, Philip & Sandy Sullivan. Greatly missed by her constant feline companions Garfield and Seymour. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Kelly, Casey and Erin Robazza, Tommy and Kerry Sullivan, Adam Ranger, Matthew and Sarah Sullivan, Trevor Sullivan, Shannon Jerome and their families. The family will welcome friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Parish. Patricia’s remains will be interred at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the family plot at a later date. I worked at Extendicare several years ago, and Patsy was one of the kindest people I had ever met. She was also very beautiful, graceful and so full of dignity. She was a dear woman who will be greatly missed by all who love her.

Our heartfelt condolences to all of Patsy’s family at this sad time of loss. I will always remember her as a quiet gentle soul with a real genuine compassion for everyone she spoke with. We shall miss her at the reunion this summer but I’m sure you all have so many wonderful memories to cherish in your heart forever. May God Bless you with comfort at this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
