Patrick passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019 surrounded by his loving friends Don and Donna Dickinson at the Kirkland & District Hospital. Patrick was born on June 11, 1928 in Orillia, Ontario to the late Norman and Catherine McHugh (nee Cashman).Patrick enjoyed going out to eat, going out for drives and travelling. He loved playing bingo at the Encore Club and working at the Salvation Army. Patrick will be remembered for being a caring and selfless person.Patrick is survived by his sister-in-law Ruth McHugh; nieces Kathy McHugh, Kim McHugh, Tracey Mulcahy, Mary-Anne Miles, Teresa Cussen; and nephews Joe McHugh and Stephen Cussen. Patrick will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him, especially by his special friends Eva Smith and Lucille and Marcel Asselin.
