PAULINE DAVIS,

DAVIS, PAULINE (nee MOSSOP) – – It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family announces the passing of a dear wife, mother and friend on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario. With dignity and grace, Pauline fought a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She passed away at the age of 56 years with her beloved husband and best friend Norman by her side. Loving mother of Angela Davis-Witty (Richard Witty) of Kirkland Lake, Toby Kim Davis (Friend Eric Trott) of Sudbury and Trevor Davis of Kirkland Lake. Dear daughter of Mildred Mossop (nee Anderson) of Kirkland Lake. Much loved sister of Dorothy & William Callery of Sundridge, Eileen Mossop of Scarborough, Carol & Leonard Webster of Kirkland Lake and Sandra & Robert Brown of Waterloo. Sadly missed by her 4 precious grandchildren – Maxwell Witty, Jack Witty, Makayla Davis-Levesque and Jessica Davis-Levesque and by many nieces and nephews. Forever remembered by her best friend and sister-in-law Carol Howard (nee Davis) and by many family members and friends. Predeceased by her father Edward Murdoch and sister Gloria Calhoun. Her gentle smile, caring ways, love for people and nature will be missed by those she has touched. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Eric Hentschel and the staff of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Clinic as well as the Emergency Staff at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener. A special thank you to Sandra & Robert Brown for welcoming Pauline & Norman into their home and for all the support they gave to the family. Visitation will be held at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, 567-3565) on Sunday, May 6, 2007 from 7:00 " 9:00 p.m. and Monday, May 7, 2007 from 2:00 " 4:00 & 7:00 " 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Pauline’s life will be held in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Edna Murdy officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Grand River Hospital Foundation (835 King Street West, Kitchener N2G 1G3), Lung Association (P.O. Box 1024, Kirkland Lake P2N 3L1) or Trillium Gift of Life Network (522 University Avenue, Suite 900, Toronto M5G 1W7) and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
