ELLERTON, Ronald " Ron "

1958 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Ronald (Ron) William Ellerton at the age of 64 years at Englehart Hospital on September 28, 2022.

Loving son of the late Mervyn and Joyce Ellerton of Englehart.

Much loved siblings: Ralph (Sue Palmateer) of Englehart, Cathy of Kitchener, Betty (Don) of Scarborough, Bev (Craig) of Bonnyville Alberta, Mervyn (Jane) of New Liskeard, and Yvette (Dan) of Haileybury.

Proud father of Jarrett (Stephanie) and grand children Makayla and Carter.

Ron loved outdoor adventures, fishing, leather crafts, and spending time with family and friends including long time friend Debbie, adventure buddy Jim, and roommate Tommy.

Many thanks to the caring staff at Northview Nursing Home as well as the Renal Units at Temiskaming and Kirkland Lake Hospitals. A special thank you for the family support from Dave and Lorie Allin.

If desired, donations can be made to the Northview Nursing Home -River Road Tuck Shop.

A grave side service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at the Charlton Cemetery. In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved to the Royal Canadian Legion, Englehart.

Luncheon to follow the service at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 104, Englehart.

We are sorry to hear that Ron has passed on. Ron would always take the time to stop, have a chat, and inquire how we are doing. He will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences to the Ellerton Family, and Ron's friends at this sad time.
