BREAULT, Rosa

With sadness, we announce Rosa’s passing at the Temiskaming Hospital on March 18th, 2021.

She was born to the late Joseph and Alice (née Aylwin) Plante. Rosa will be forever missed by her husband of 60 years, Gilbert; her children Gaetanne Riopel (Clement Gagnon), Gaetan Breault (Vivianne Leveiller), and her late son Rémi Breault (Tysh Legace); her grandchildren Nadia, Lianne, Luc, Francis and Justin; her precious great-grandchildren Sebastien, Sabrina, Mabel, Adeline, Remington, Trenton, Isabella, Tatyana, Karson and Zendaya. She also leaves to mourn her siblings Noella (late Omer), Jean Noel (late Rita), Rose Aimee (late Emile), Eva (late Claude).

Rosa was a member of the Filles D’Isabelle for over 50 years, member of UCFO for 51 years. In 1983, Rosa was a part founder of Breault’s Dymond Carpet with her husband Gilbert for 21 years. Rosa returned to school (Centre des Adultes) to update her skills with the latest computer technology as a result she developed a love for her iPad and therefore spend many hours face-timing her family. Her love for children and teasing them was outstanding. Her unique sense of humour made everyone’s life interesting. She was an avid Montreal Canadian hockey fan who kept accurate team statistics. Her knowledge and passion for the sport were remarkable. Rosa lived a good part of her later years in much pain and was later assessed as Polymyalgia rheumatic (PMR). She remained strong and positive throughout this disease.
