HOLMES, Tennessee - Tenny passed away at the Teck-Pioneer Residence at the age of 100 years with family at her side. She was the last surviving child of the seven children born to William and Dominica Roman. Predeceased by her husband Joseph and son John, survived by her loving son David (Brenda) and many nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful for the care and compassion mom received while at the Teck Pioneer Residence; you are the best!

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 24th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of French Family Funeral Home (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, Ontario P2N 3L1) with burial at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery and luncheon at the Funeral Home lounge to follow. Donations in Tenny's memories may be made to the Teck Pioneer Residence (145A Government Rd. East, Kirkland Lake, Ontario P2N 3P4).

There was only one aunt Sass and she was mine. She was my second mother growing up on Queen Street. She was an amazing, fun, loving, caring person and I am fortunate to have so many great memories of her. I’m so blessed to have been able to see her, hold her hand so much and share stories with her with you, Brenda and Jane by her side last week. Her cooking was the best. She was the best and she lives on in you David, the best example of her loving, generous spirit a mother could have. She is home now with all the other people who loved her as much as we do.
