1931 - 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Therese Roy on September 24, 2023 at the Kirkland Lake and District Hospital.
Therese was predeceased by her parents Alma and Aurel Meilleur, her husband Benoit, sons Jules and Jean-Claude. She was predeceased by her brothers Marcel, Henri, Normand, her sister Lorraine. She is survived by her children Lise, Paul, Pierre (Loraine), Cecile (Lee O'Reilly) and many Grand and Great-grand children. She is also survived by her siblings Claire, Jean-Paul (Jaqueline), Raymond (Bev), Cecile (Felicien Boudreault), Denise (Claude Daigle) ,Suzanne (Al Malouin) and many nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the staff at the hospital and a special thanks her Grand-daughter Chantal for taking great care of Memere on her final day.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative (formerly French Family Funeral Home - 111 Burnside Dr. Kirkland Lake, ON). Funeral mass will be held following the visitation at Paroisse Assomption at 11:00 a.m.
