Isabell and family
So shocked and saddened by your loss. Our thoughts , and that of our entire family with you at this time. Take comfort in the fact that we are grieving with you, and remembering happier times together.
Wayne and I met in Gr. 13 at EHS, and in July marked our 55th year of a wonderful life together. We had so much fun. He lived every day with enthusiasm and was so kind and caring to us all. Wayne loved so many things - his Lord, his teaching, his music, his garden, farming, volunteering and very especially his family: Seana, Stan, Norah & Evan, Karyn, Ken, Bec & Mitu, Kristy, Titus & Scarlett. We were all so loved. How we miss him already at every turn.
Visitation on Saturday October 21, 2023 starting at 1:00 p.m. onward at the Good Shepherd Church in Englehart. All Welcome.

Dear Isabelle and Family
It was heart breaking to hear the sad news. I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Minnett was an incredible person who positively influenced the lives of all of his students. He had such passion, kindness and humour that turned learning into fun.... he is the reason that we are better adults today. I will forever cherish the memories of special times at Savard Public School. From the music to him playing sports with us at recess ... there will never be another educator/Principal so invested in student success. He was truly a Champion and one of a kind. We will forever remember him. I am wishing you comfort and peace at this challenging time. May happy memories of the love and times you shared together as a family, comfort you and give you the strength to go on. Love and prayers.

I keep searching for the right words but they don't seem to exist.... What a wonderful man Wayne was. The list of descriptive adjective is lengthy; godly, kind, loving, caring, friendly, compassionate, intelligent, witty, humourous, musical, multi-talented, honest, forthright, dedicated, faithful, loyal, giving, generous, practical, adventurous, energetic, passionate, nature loving, thoughtful, selfless........... etc. So many memories flood our minds and our hearts of precious times we shared over the years.
Isabell, we know Wayne was your best friend, that he was as perfect for you as you were for him, a true partnership. We love you and will continue to pray for you and the entire family as you grieve this sudden and unexpected loss. May God grant you rest and comfort, dear friend. xo Nancy & Lloyd Packham

Please accept our sincere condolences. It was always a happy experience to converse with him. We were always amazed to watch him play the piano with such heart even as he kept an eye on people entering the room.
My heart sank hearing the new. My sincere condolences to you all. He was such a wonderful person and he will be miss by many.
Mr Minnett will always be remembered by so many people for an array of things. I remember having him as 4/5 grade teacher and all the brightness he brought to school with him. His passion of music and teaching combined. Often his lessons were accompanied by a song or a keyboard melody. He touched so many peoples hearts and saw the good in everyone. Although he is gone he leaves behind a maze of memories that he will live on in. Although the road is hard Isabelle know that all of our thoughts are with you. He was a remarkable man. May he rest in peace. Good-bye Mr Minnett

My thoughts are with you. Wayne was an inspiration to us all by his life of service. I’m certainly not alone in having many good memories of him quietly playing the piano at church for so many years whether there was a large or small number in the congregation. Always a friendly word whenever we met. He will be dearly missed. Do keep in touch.
Dear Isabell & family, oh darn and so sad to hear of Wayne's passing -

We just learned today from our family in New Liskeard about the passing of dear Wayne. We are deeply saddened for all of you family members and the many in the area who held this man is such high esteem. My first memory of Wayne comes from music festival time when he accompanied singers from the Charlton area. His distinctive walk up to the piano and his musical style embedded themselves in my memory. Then on the occasions when we were visitors are Thornloe Baptist church, our hearts were warmed by that same style as he smiled warmly from the piano bench as he played. He was a great contributor to so much ministry and will be greatly missed. May your assurance of him being in the loving arms of His Saviour bring you comfort even as your own hearts ache with his absence. You are much in our thoughts and prayers.
We are sorry to hear that Wayne has passed away. He would always take the time to say hello when ever we would meet. He will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences to all. God Bless.
Dear Isabell,
I am so sorry to hear about Wayne’s passing. Our connection has been through the piano classes at the Temiskaming Festival of Music. I always enjoyed seeing both of you in supporting the students. There will definitely be a huge void but I trust that your faith, family & friends will be there when you most need them. My deepest condolences. Christ be with you.
So sad to hear of Mr. Minette's loss. I'll always remember my dsys at Savard Public. Isabelle, your and Wayne's contribution to education made a difference in my life.
I remember him as my piano teacher in Englehart in the 60’s , and the first ever snowmobile ride I ever had after the music lesson down the back alley…that machine would be a collector’s item today. He was certainly a very nice man. Sympathies to you all, from my wife and me.
My condolences to your family.
I'm praying for you all during this difficult time. Asking
for comfort, strength, and the deep and abiding hope that we have in Christ.
With love,
We have many good memories of Wayne.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
