WERT, Wayne

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear brother, uncle, father, grandfather & great grandfather.

Wayne passed away on October 20^th, 2023 in New Liskeard, Ontario. He is mourned by his children, daughter SherryLee (Randy) and son Shawn, also his brother Terry (Louise) and sister Trina (Alvin). He will also be missed by his nieces & nephews, Colleen, Dallas and David Wert, Wanda and Travis Wert, Daniel, Daralyn and Caroline Lafleur, Gerry and Karen Wert, Darren, Corrie Quinn and Sheldon Johnston.

Wayne worked at Kidd mine for many years and was respected by many of his peers.

He was pre-deceased by his brother Daryl & sister Marilyn. A cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held at a future date.

So sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing. I just found out and am in shock. We were going to have a visit this summer.

I found him to be a very intelligent, interesting man.
