O’CONNOR, Doreen

1935 - 2023

Doreen passed peacefully on December 19th in her 88th year at Extendicare in Kirkland Lake.

Predeceased by her parents James & Estelle, and her sisters Ann, Alice, Pamela and Jacqueline. Doreen is survived by her brother Michael (Anne Marie) and Roger, her nieces Sandra (Alan), Lynn (Paul) and nephew James and Martin (predeceased). Remembered by great niece Meagan (Dean), and great nephews Aaron (predeceased), Alexandre (Carmen) and Sam. 

A special thank you to Sandra from the family for her efforts and also to the staff of Extendicare.

There will be no funeral service. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.

If desired, donations in memory of Doreen may be made to a charity of your choice.

The O'Connor Family

So sorry to hear of Doreens' passing. Growing up my parents were good friends of Jimmy and Stella and they spent many Saturday nights watching wrestling on TV at our place. When my mom was sick and in the hospital , Doreen was our babysitter. Before entering Extendicare, Doreen always sat behind me at Holy Name church every Saturday night. Sincere condolences to the whole family
