1928 - 2025
Florence Mary Cooper (nee Reeves), resident of Larder Lake, passed away in her 98th year in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, July 12th, 2025.
Born June 27th, 1928 in Windsor, Ontario to the late Henry and Theresa Reeves (nee Ellwood).
Married October 29, 1949 for 52 years to the late Leonard George Cooper (2002) in Windsor, Ontario.
Survived by her Aunt Violet and Aunt Gladys, siblings Betty Ann, David and sister-in-law Dawna Reeves, predeceased by Lloyd, Ken, James, Doris and Hank, sister-in-law Sharon Reeves, and brother-in-law’s Doug Wiseman and Harvey Davis.
Loving Mother to Pat and Paul Kelly of Larder Lake, Ontario, Deb and Tom Rowles of McGregor, Ontario, and Terry and Cheryl Cooper of Virginatown, Ontario. Loving Grandmother to Ryan Kelly (Amy), Jason Kelly (Tanya), Colleen and Paul Celseti, Tim and Sheri Rowles, Ashley Cooper (Matt), Nicole and Chris Stevens, Michael and Michelle McIntyre, Mark and Renee McIntrye and the late Eric Rowles (1997). Loving Great Grandmother to Tyler & Thomas Rowles, Lauren & Addison Kelly, Cooper & Oliver Kelly, Ava & Nathan Celseti, Aspin Stevens and Deyman Knerr. Survived by many nieces & nephews in Grand Cache, Alberta.
Florence and Leonard enjoyed every summer from 1964 to 2001 with family and many friends at Raven Beach Park in Larder Lake. She enjoyed her morning walks and was known around town as “The Walker”.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the loving and compassionate care she received this past year at Extendicare Kirkland Lake.

So sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Flo and Uncle Bus and all our family gatherings. There sure were a bunch of us at times.
Aunt Flo will be sadly missed but I will think of her and Uncle Bus, Aunt Lila and Uncle Carl and Peg and Harold ( mom & dad) all together again, just like the old times. Love to All of you. ️
