I had the fortunate opportunity to know George at Northern College.
George emulated the proverbial saying: Jack of all trades and a master of all of them. From his stint in the College's administration offices to his time in the College's maintenance department no matter what the job or duty entailed, he had the solution - literally in his hand.
George greeted people by name, with an authentic smile, and always with a reassuring calmness. He will be missed.

Our most sincere condolences go out to Shirley and the family. We will remember George as a most sincere, friendly and interesting individual. In particular, I will always remember him as one of our goalies for our No-Pro Saturday night hockey games in the 70's. I also recall the tremendous amount of work he did for the KL Aquatic Club Stingrays. His dedication and energy seemed boundless. We will miss him dearly.

So sorry to hear about George's passing. He and I worked in the front office at Northern College for some time and I do recall his baking skills. After he retired, he would come in with freshly baked treats for the front line staff now and again. Always enjoyed his wit and sunny disposition. Rest in peace George.

I knew George from Northern College. He always had a smile when I saw him and always said hi. Even after Northern, when I saw George, we always said a hello and exchanged conversation. I really will miss him. We also had a lot in common, Wawa and aviation. Sorry we never got around to discussing that. So long, George, you certainly left an impression in this world of mine.
