VILLENEUVE, Raymond (Ray) – April 5 1953 – October 23 2016After a lengthy illness, the family sadly announces the passing of Raymond on October 23rd, 2016 with his devoted and special friend June Clermont by his side. Predeceased by his biological father Arthur Villeneuve, mother Alice Beaudry, infant brother Robert Villeneuve and two infant grandchildren. Left to mourn are his two daughters Nadia Kelly and Nicky Villeneuve (Eric Lachance); grandchildren Angelina, Hailey, Austin and Nolan. Also survived by his father Arthur Beaudry (Georgette); his sisters Louise & Mike Leclerc, Debbie Beaudry, Susan & Rick Teeple; his brother Robert Beaudry (Karine) as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.As per Raymond’s wishes, Aqua-cremation at French Family Funeral Home has taken place and there will be no funeral service.Memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation (1300-2300 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4) or to the Canadian Cancer Society (101-273 Third Avenue, Timmins, ON P4N 1E2).Condolences, donations, and ordering of flowers may be made on-line at www.frenchfamily.caOffer Condolence for the family of Raymond (Ray) Villeneuve

Sorry to see you lost your battle with life, it demanded more than you could give. I must say thank you for our many party times, when we both tried to drink the L.C.B.O. dry. Many of these occurred with Aime’ Morrissette and it was downstairs Ted Seymour’s fathers store . Rest In Peace my friend. You have earned it.

Our most sincere cidolences to the family. When the Kerr Mine reopened in 1990 Ray was an integral part of the team He was a great cage tender who went out of his way to service his crewmates. He was instrumental in maintaining a good working relationship between the Steel workers Union and the company. May he rest now after his battles with illnesses
