Family of Colina

I am so saddened to hear that Colina has passed. I got to know Colina when she replaced me at Town Hall when I went on Maternity Leave almost 30 years ago.....and I would often see her at the bingo hall as well. My sympathies to her son and brother.

Sorry for your loss Ian. I enjoyed working with Colina. She always had a smile on her face and had a way of making people feel welcome. We had some great times on the golf course. She will be missed.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
One of the saddest moments is when you hear of the death of a friend. Colina and I met in the early 1980s and shared many chuckles and chats about bingo, her golf outings, about her son, and her brother and sister-in-law she so enjoyed visiting. When Colina knew I was going to Scotland back a few years she said, "You'll not have a problem with the accent as you've had no trouble with that of Joan's and mine these many years". She was right. Rest in peace my friend.

Ian,
I am so saddened to learn of your Mom’s passing. She was a remarkable lady whose kindness and beautiful smile will always be fondly remembered. I remember her helping Ted’s Uncle Jack with paperwork for the Sons of Scotland, so he could continue in a role that was important to him!
I believe she has joined an elite group of Scots and other friends whose drives are always long and straight and whose putts never miss the cup! Rest In Peace Colina.

Ian Wark and the Wark and Donachie families

My father was a friend and frequent golf partner of Angus' ; Ian, you may remember me as one of your teachers at Nor Col. I did not know your mom but heard good things about your dad from mine. This I do know - they raised a fine son which, in my mind, reflects their love for you. May you find comfort in your memories. Yours sincerely, Laurie
