Erva's family
I remember Erva well from the many years she worked as a ward clerk at the Kirkland Hospital. She was a lovely lady and very precise about her work. Always well groomed, professional and pleasant to be around. So sorry for your loss.
Erva Bonnier
June 19, 1924 - May 17, 2025
The family of Erva Bonnier wish to announce her passing on May 16, 2025, just shy of her 101st birthday, at the South Centennial Manor. A longtime resident of Kirkland Lake, Erva was a true inspirational woman in her time, such as owning and launching her own boat to go to her cottage in Larder Lake. She never hesitated to help others and loved her family dearly. Erva worked at the Kirkland & District Hospital until her retirement. She was very active in the United Church and with the Rebecca lodge.
Erva leaves to mourn, her great nieces Teri Staples and Nancy (Daryl) Liznick; her great nephews Kevin Robinson and Mike (Shelley) Robinson, her sister-in-law Maud Bonnier (102) as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place, and she will be laid to rest beside her mother in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
As per Erva’s wishes a small family memorial will be held at the Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank the South Centennial Manor for their wonderful care over the past 3 years.
