FRENCH, GREGORY JOSEPH – – Peacefully at the Teck Pioneer Residence on Friday, June 15, 2007 in his 84th year. Dear husband of the late Stella Lazarou. Loving father of Patricia Desjardins and Nancy Allick & her husband Jed. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren " Wayne, Dean, Gerry, Shawn, Chad, Shannon, Amanda, Jason, Skye, Sam, Madison, Jake and by 5 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his sister Tillie Bruce and by his many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander & Annie, by his sister, Molly and by his brother John. Greg was a World War II Vet and a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 87. In respect of Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family arrangements will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Teck Pioneer Residence (145A Government Road East, Kirkland Lake P2N 3P4) or the Holy Name of Jesus Parish (39 Kirkland Street, Kirkland Lake P2N 3K1) and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
