I feel sad sitting down to write this. Dave and I were one year apart. We occasionally met on construction sites when he worked with Innisville heating and cooling and I would visit him and Pam at their home in Innisville when I was working in Barrie . Rose and I last saw Dave in 2017 living above the old P&G (Co-Op). He talked at that time of going into some kind of care but he wad adamant that without his cat he was going nowhere. We talked of our early years in Larder, about the old fellow who took care of the closed sawmill before it burned down and how he kind of took Dave under his wing. He spoke of a childhood unlike other kids and adventures he under took or endured, of swinging in poplar trees and crossing to the next before buddy could cut down the one he was in. He loved hunting and fishing and could be as stubborn as any stone. He said he should write a book, that his life was more event full than most. I agree and I miss him.

Philip, Rick, Penny and Pat Humes and friends.

I never got to know David but I was a close friend of Rick's and went to the Townsend home often and saw this little guy, who was 6 years younger than us. Sorry to see that you have left your family so young. Condolences to all the family and friends.
