HARKNESS, John

In loving memory of Mr. John Harkness who passed away at Northview Nursing Home, Englehart, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 87.

Born in Edinburgh Scotland on August 10, 1933 to the late John & Louisa Harkness. John had a great passion for horses where he had many accomplishments. John was a avid reader and Past President of the Englehart Hospital Auxiliary.

He is survived by his loving wife Martha of 59 years, daughter Fiona and son Derek. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrea, Nicole, Kyle, Justin, Derek Jr., Christopher, Isaac and his 7 great grandchildren.

In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be mo visitation or service at this time. In memory contributions to the Northview Nursing Home Activity Fund will be greatly appreciated.
