Edna passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Kirkland Lake with her family by her side Monday December 12,2022 at the age of 77. Beloved mother of John (Swastika) Steve (Jackie) of Kirkland Lake, Sherry of Edmonton, Alberta, Dan (Olivia) of Babine Lake BC, Kimberly (Jamie) of Harley Township, Tony (Diane) of Niagara Falls. Loving grandmother to 33 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Loving sister to Leona Kelly, Sonny Doupe, Alfred Doupe, Arvilla Pattison, Rose Doupe, Berthana Doupe, Arnold Doupe. Edna will be greatly missed by her family, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Edna was born in Harley Twp on October 10, 1945. Edna would be one of thirteen children born to Doris and Overton Doupe. She made a beautiful life in Kirkland Lake for many years. Edna leaves behind her strong faith in God and a legacy of love and laughter that no one could match. She brought joy no matter where she went and was a social butterfly with a huge heart and loved by many.

A celebration of life in honour of Edna will be held at a later date.
